What is IPM?
Integrated Pest Management is an approach to solving pest problems by combining preventative measures as well as mechanical, cultural, chemical or biological interventions. The focus of IPM is having a strategic plan to prevent, suppress or control pests rather than eradication.
We aim to integrate with other PHC (plant health care) practices to manage and improve plant vigor and vitality. We want to help our customers make the best decisions in their plan of action. Some plans for pest management may include the use of organic products, chemical pesticides or a combination of the two. We may also incorporate the use of beneficial predators when applicable. Our objective and goal is to create and follow a plan of action to be customized to the client's preference and objectives in mind.
