WHAT IS PLANT HEALTH CARE?

Most home owners have not heard of this term before? They might ask, "what is it and why do I need it"? 

The term means exactly what it implies.  It is an approach to maintaining the health, vigor and longevity of your trees, shrubs and lawn, as well as protecting against disease and pests.  

Services can include treatments to prevent or treat  diseases, pests, nutrient deficiencies as well as help reverse environmental stressors like the extremes in weather patterns we have been experiencing in South Central Texas for the past few years.  

We have experienced severe drought conditions as well as an extreme cold pattern that even brought snow to this area!    These abiotic stressors such as the "Snowmageddon" snow event of early 2021 and the current drought of 2023 are still causing health issues to our landscapes today.

During normal circumstances, our trees and plants are able to fight off  the average opportunistic diseases.  However, under periods of extreme stress conditions,  like what  we have experienced recently,  these extreme stressors  are now causing severe  damage and even death to some trees and plants.
